
Emma Lawson, RDH, PHDH, BS
Founder & Executive Director
Emma has worked as a dental hygienist in private practice for over thirty years. After graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at New Hampshire Technical Institute in 1991, she became a hygienist who always strives to learn what is new in the field. She began working as a public health dental hygienist in 2013 and has loved it ever since, founding Visiting Dental Hygiene, Inc. in 2018 and earning her Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene from Mount Ida College the same year. Emma is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Hygiene Association and enjoys skiing, boating, and being active with her husband and three children.

Carol, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Carol graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Bristol Community College in 1994. She spent 25 years in private practice before joining the Visiting Dental Hygiene team in 2018. Carol truly enjoys working in public health and strives to encourage healthy dental habits in everyone she serves. She loves spending time with her husband, two children, and her two kitties — Lola and Sandy.

Carrie, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Carrie received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2008. She has worked in private practice and as an educator at MCPHS, and joined Visiting Dental Hygiene in 2022. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and cheering on the Boston sports teams.

Danielle, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Danielle has worked as a dental hygienist for more than 25 years. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene and began her career in private practice. While she loves the predictable flow of a typical dental office, public health hygiene has been an exciting challenge. She joined the team in 2020 and works with us part time. Danielle enjoys being with her family and makes her home on the South Shore.

Alex, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Alex always loved going to the dentist, which influenced her to study dental assisting at her vocational high school and later earn her Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene from Mount Ida College in 2017. After several years in private practice she joined Visiting Dental Hygiene in 2020. Alex loves being able to give accessible dental hygiene care to many different communities, and has a passion for traveling, the outdoors, and animals.

Lauren, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Lauren started in the dental field over 12 years ago and graduated from Mount Ida College's dental hygiene program in 2018. She is patient-focused and driven to provide a personable experience for everyone in her chair. It brings Lauren fulfillment to help those who do not have direct access to healthcare. She enjoys going to the beach near her new home by the sea.

Rhonda, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Rhonda graduated from the dental hygiene program at Mount Ida College in 2006. She has loved working in private practice and is thrilled to have made the shift to public health so she can connect with and care for people who otherwise may not have access. Rhonda enjoys traveling, hiking, and cheering on the Bruins.

Katie, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Katie began her journey in dentistry as a high school dental assistant, which sparked a lifelong passion for the field. She earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. Katie enjoys helping patients improve their oral health through both treatment and personalized home care education, with experience spanning private practice and public health. Outside of work she loves traveling, time with friends and family, and relaxing at home with her significant other and their cat, Mackie.

Taisha, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Taisha has always believed that a healthy smile can change a person's confidence, health, and even their future. Her passion for dentistry started early, inspired by her desire to help others and make quality care accessible in every community. She earned her degree in Dental Hygiene and has spent years working in both private practice and community health, with a special focus on mobile and school-based dentistry. Taisha is dedicated to bridging gaps in access to care and building stronger, healthier communities through education, empathy, and empowerment. Beyond the operatory, Taisha is a motivational speaker, consultant, and strategist. She speaks to inspire and uplift, using her story to encourage growth, resilience, and purpose. Through her consulting work, she partners with businesses to help them strategize for growth, streamline operations, and create lasting impact. As the founder and leader of Untyd Futures, Taisha continues to create opportunities, build relationships, and drive change. Her mission is simple: to empower people, bridge gaps, and create healthier futures, one smile, one strategy, and one life at a time.
