  • Emma Lawson, RDH, PHDH, BS

    Executive Director

    Emma has been working as a dental hygienist in private practice for over thirty years. After graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, NH in 1991 she grew to become a hygienist who always strives to learn about what is new in the dental hygiene field. Emma started working as a public health dental hygienist in 2013 and has loved it ever since. She founded Visiting Dental Hygiene, Inc in 2018. She received her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from Mount Ida College in 2018. Emma is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Hygiene Association. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children skiing, boating and being active.

  • Maryellen, RDH

    Maryellen started her dental career as a result of her childhood hygienist.

    "Growing up we had the best hygienist and she instilled the love of dentistry in me."

    She graduated from Middlesex Community College in 1984 and went into private practice. She has been loving dental hygiene ever since, working in various capacities. She started working with Visiting Dental Hygiene in 2015 and amongst all her jobs, public health is her favorite. She is the proud mom of two children and her grand dog, Blake. She enjoys cooking, refinishing furniture and reading, but most of all, relaxing at the beach.

  • Carol, RDH

    Carol graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA in 1994. She has been working in private practice for the past 25 years and joined the Visiting Dental Hygiene team in 2018. Carol truly enjoys working in the public health arena and strives to encourage healthy dental habits in those that she serves. Carol enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her two kitties – Lola and Sandy.

  • Carrie, RDH

    Carrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2008. She has since worked in private practice as well as an educator at MCPHS. Carrie joined the Visiting Dental Hygiene team as a dental hygienist in 2022. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and cheering on the Boston sports teams

  • Danielle, RDH

    Danielle has worked as a dental hygienist for more than 25 years. She graduated from The University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene and began her career in private practice. While she loves the predictable flow of a typical dental office, working as a public health dental hygienist has been an exciting challenge. She joined our team in 2020 and works with us part time. Danielle enjoys being with her family and makes her home on the south shore.

  • Alex, RDH

    Alex always loved going to the dentist since she can remember. This influenced her to study dental assisting at her vocational high school and later received her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from Mount Ida College in 2017. She has since been working in private practice and joined Visiting Dental Hygiene in 2020. Alex loves being able to give accessible dental hygiene care to all different communities. Alex has a passion for traveling, enjoys being outdoors and loves animals.

  • Lauren, RDH

    Lauren started in the dental field over 12 years ago. She attended Mount Ida College for her dental hygiene studies and graduated in 2018. She is patient focused and driven to provide a personable experience to all of her patients . It brings Lauren fulfillment to be able to help those who do have have direct access to healthcare. Lauren enjoys going to the beach at her new home by the sea.

  • Rhonda, RHD

    Rhonda graduated from the dental hygiene program at Mount Ida College in 2006. She has loved working in private practice but is thrilled to make the shift to public health to be able to connect with and provide dental care to those who otherwise may not have access. Rhonda enjoys traveling, hiking and cheering on the Bruins.
